Sadly, this once peaceful country park has been surrounded by industrial yards. There is a Fed-Ex truck terminal across the street that runs 24 hours a day, and a huge oil field supply company just down the street. Many other industrial yards are adjacent and across the street. Constant truck traffic up and down the street, back-up alarms on trucks, exhaust brakes, passing trains, and new construction make this is quite possibly the noisiest park you will ever stay in. In addition the park is almost full of oilfield workers who all fire up their diesel pickups at 5:30 am to go to work. This is sad for us travelers, because otherwise it’s a nice park with wide spaces, free WiFi, clean facilities, and a friendly staff.

This “resort” lacks many of the amenities normally associated with a resort, or upscale RV park. Hookups are shared, putting you right next to your neighbor. There is an extra charge for a sewer hookup site. No cable TV is available, and there is no local off-air reception. Free wifi is available. If you don’t mind camping directly below an earth fill dam, this park is very quiet and good for a night or two. Cell phone reception is poor. Friendly staff.

This campground is being converted to a KOA park. The new owners are instituting the usual KOA add-on fees for cable TV, etc. We have been camping here for 30 years, and passed this year.

This park is very neat and clean and quiet. We extended our stay because it was so nice. Wifi is pay, but there is a 3 day free trial available. Polite and friendly staff. Gravel sites with a concrete patio.

A very nice, clean, and quiet park. Friendly and helpful staff. Sites at the rear of the park have no highway noise, those at the front of the park are noisy due to nearby highway. Paved sites.

This park is not as neat and clean as it used to be. There are many permanent trailers here, surrounded by the usual accompanying collection of junk. The management does not enforce their rules, specifically the noise rule. We were disturbed by tent campers with loud car stereos. Ok for an overnight stay, but too noisy for a longer stay.
